I dont mind many of the MD4 style economic changes, I think they are cool upgrades for a modern era, but without all the original crazy focus trees from millennium dawn, I feel like im playing modern day 4 with a usa focus tree mod, and that's just boring. Please, BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FOCUS TREES!Īlso, where did all the tech research go? the trade and research seems completely gutted. I was extremely disappointed to find that I could no longer form a monarchist japan and conquer Asia. The only countries with slightly interesting focus trees are USA and Russia, and thats just because they are most similar to their original versions.

I want to bring back the divine wind to Japan, not go down a broing focus tree that lets me do practically nothing. Millennium Dawn is a multi-mod project set in the year 2000 and carries forward to the modern day. I play HOI4 to play out cool new scenarios, not balance a budget. But, I'm sorry, the decision to remove the majority of the focus trees from MD for the new ones was a horrible decision.
Millennium Dawn in general is incredibly stupid and annoying. Listen, I get it, you guys needed to figure out what to keep and what to let go. Just because HOI4 is broken in general doesnt mean the particular focus tree. One of the first HOI IV mods on ModDB, VFB proudly inaugurates its third year of existance on this platform by renovating itself once more.
